EASY DINNER IDEAS
It's ultra-flavorful, so tender, and made in just one pot! This beef stew also stores wonderfully in the fridge. Some might even argue that it tastes better the next day - try it and see!
The list of ingredients is a little on the lengthy side, so make sure you do a head count before you begin!
Start by seasoning your meat with salt and pepper. Set the Instant Pot to saute and then add some olive oil and half of the meat to the pot.
Sear the meat for 3 minutes before flipping it. Transfer it to a plate, then add the rest of the oil and the meat to the pot, repeating the previous step.
Saute your onion in the Instant Pot for 3-4 minutes, and cook the garlic for 1 minute. To deglaze the pot, add the broth and stir so that nothing sticks.
Mix in the Italian seasoning, thyme, tomato paste, bouillon, and Worcestershire sauce.
Next, toss in the carrots, potatoes, and meat, and stir everything until it's combined.
Cook on manual high pressure for 35 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 15 minutes, then carefully vent to release remaining pressure.
Ladle out 1 cup of broth into a bowl. Add the gravy packets, and whisk to combine. Stir the gravy back into the stew and add the peas.
Whew! That's all for today! Serve yourself a warm bowl of stew with a buttered roll, and enjoy.
