Slow Cooker Country Style Ribs

What are Country Style Ribs?

Country Style Ribs are boneless ribs that come from the fatty, muscular section of a pig's shoulder blade.  Slow cook these smoky ribs on low for 6 hours to get them nice and tender!

Simple Ingredients

There's a relatively short list of 6 ingredients to gather today. Let's get started!

Ready the Slow Cooker

Spray the slow cooker pot with non-stick cooking spray to save time on clean up later!

Season the Ribs

Carefully brush the ribs with liquid smoke - remember that a little goes a long way! Next, add the dry rub seasoning and smoked paprika.

Prepare the Onion

Chop up your onion and place the pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker. Put the seasoned ribs on top of the onions.

Cook the Ribs

Cook your ribs on low for 6 hours. In the meantime, take a breather - you've earned it! :)

Prepare to Broil

Turn on the broiler and arrange your ribs on a baking sheet. Brush them with your favorite BBQ sauce and broil for about 2 minutes.

That's all for today! Time to dig into these delicious ribs. Feel free to make some baked beans or corn on the side!
