Instructions

  • Add cold water to the inner pot. Place steam rack inside the instant pot. Carefully place eggs on top of the rack.
  • Place lid on instant pot, making sure the valve is set to the sealed position and set cook time for 5 minutes on high pressure.
  • While eggs are cooking, prepare a medium size bowl with enough cold water and ice to cover the eggs.
  • Let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes after cooking. After 5 minutes, carefully flip the valve to quick release and release any remaining steam.
  • Using tongs or a spoon transfer eggs to the ice water bath for 5 minutes.
  • Peel, serve and store eggs as desired!

Notes

Storage: You can store your eggs in the fridge for up to 7 days, peeled or unpeeled. I personally prefer to peel my eggs before storing them in the refrigerator, which is no hassle at all since these are so easy to peel. Once my eggs are peeled, I put them in an airtight bag or container and let them hang out in my fridge for an easy snack.
