Notes

How To Store: Store seasoning in an airtight container, in a cool and dry pantry, for up to a year. We like to store ours in the freezer, where it stays fresh even longer.
Keep the saltiness in check. We use coarse sea salt, which is milder than table salt. If you’re using regular table salt, you’ll only need about ½ teaspoon since it’s saltier. Adjust the saltiness of your seasoning blend depending on what tastes good to you.
Use coarse ground black pepper. You’ll want to stick with spices that hold up well at high temperatures. The coarser the grind, the better the pepper will hold up to the heat. Freshly ground pepper also has a stronger flavor.
Spice it up. If you like your burgers with a little mild spice, go ahead and mix in a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes or add a pinch of cayenne pepper for more heat.
