Notes

Store: Place sauce in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 7 days. Serve it straight out of the fridge or at room temperature. If a thin film develops on top, scoop it off with a spoon. I do not recommend freezing this sauce as the mayo and sour cream base can separate and become watery once thawed.
Avocado-tajin sauce: Blend 1/2-1 small pitted avocado into the sauce for a creamier, earthier flavor.
Cilantro: You can also add a handful of fresh cilantro for a bright, herby touch.
Keep it mild: Only add 1 teaspoon Tajin to the recipe. Skip the Sriracha. Do a taste test and add more Tajin as needed.
Add chipotle: To add more flavor and heat, consider adding this sauce to a food processor or blender with a chipotle pepper in adobo sauce for a smoky, spicy twist.
