Slow Cooker Country Style Ribs

These tender and juicy Slow Cooker Country Style Ribs are coated with dry rub, slow cooked, slathered with BBQ sauce, and then crisped up in the broiler until they are fall-apart delicious! I promise everyone will be begging for the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds country style ribs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons liquid smoke
  • ¼ cup dry rub for ribs
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, optional
  • 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions 

  • Spray crockpot insert with non-stick spray.
  • Brush ribs with liquid smoke and then coat well with rib rub seasoning and smoked paprika, if desired. 

Place onion in the bottom of the crockpot and then place ribs on top of the onion.
  • Cook on low 6 hours, until tender and cooked through.
  • Turn broiler on oven. Remove ribs from crockpot and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Brush with your favorite bbq sauce and broil them for about 2 minutes to set the sauce! Enjoy!
