Air Fryer Fried Avocado

Ready in just 10 minutes, this easy Air Fryer Fried Avocado recipe has a crispy breaded exterior and warm, soft and creamy avocado interior! It's delicious all on its own or served with our cilantro lime creama for dipping, but may be our new favorite vessel to serve stuffed with chicken salad, tuna salad and more!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, seeded and halved
  • ¾ cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • avocado oil spray, or olive oil spray *optional
  • Cilantro Lime Crema, optional sauce

Instructions 

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  • Season avocados with salt and pepper. Press avocado halves into bread crumbs until well coated on all sides.
  • Optional: Mist lightly with avocado oil spray, if desired. This will help to make them extra crispy.
  • Place breaded avocados in air fryer basket and cook at 375°F for 6 to 7 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

Store: While best served fresh, you can store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for about 2 minutes, until crispy again.
